This Privacy Policy explains how SHAH GUARD, operated by Danial Shakibapour Horeca Services, processes information related to the device, application, VPN service, and advertising services used within the application.

By using SHAH GUARD, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Data Controller

2. Information We Process

To provide the VPN service, deliver appropriate configurations, operate the application, prevent abuse, and display advertisements, SHAH GUARD and certain third-party service providers may process information related to the device and application.

Information processed directly by SHAH GUARD may include:

  • Android ID
  • Android operating-system version
  • Device manufacturer
  • Device model
  • App version
  • App name

SHAH GUARD does not require users to provide their name, telephone number, or email address to use the VPN service.

For advertising purposes, Google AdMob may independently collect and process additional information through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, as described in Section 9 of this Privacy Policy.

3. Purposes of Using Device Information

Device and application information processed directly by SHAH GUARD may be used for:

  • Selecting configurations compatible with the Android version and device
  • Providing and managing VPN configurations
  • Managing app installations and service requests
  • Preventing automated, repeated, or abusive requests
  • Limiting unauthorized use of service resources
  • Investigating compatibility problems
  • Improving service reliability and performance

The Android ID is used as an application/device identifier for service management and abuse prevention.

SHAH GUARD does not use the Android ID to directly determine the user's real-world identity or sell the Android ID to third parties.

4. VPN Service Usage

When the user enables the VPN, SHAH GUARD uses Android's built-in VpnService API to establish a VPN connection and route network traffic through the selected VPN server.

Network traffic passes through VPN infrastructure in order to provide the VPN service.

SHAH GUARD does not intentionally inspect, sell, or use the content of users' network traffic for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to providing and operating the VPN service.

SHAH GUARD does not intentionally retain:

  • The content of network communications
  • Visited URLs
  • DNS queries
  • Browsing history
  • The contents of data transmitted through the VPN

However, providing a VPN service necessarily requires network infrastructure to process certain technical information associated with network connections. Such information may be processed temporarily as necessary to establish, route, maintain, secure, or troubleshoot VPN connections.

Websites, applications, and other destination services accessed through the VPN may independently collect information about the connection according to their own privacy policies.

5. Logs and Diagnostic Data

The production version of SHAH GUARD does not intentionally collect or retain logs containing:

  • Network traffic content
  • Visited URLs
  • DNS queries
  • Browsing history
  • The contents of communications transmitted through the VPN

Application logging that could contain sensitive user information is disabled in the production release.

Limited technical information may be processed when necessary to maintain the service, detect technical problems, or troubleshoot issues. Such information is not intentionally used to monitor users' browsing activity or create personal profiles.

Advertising-related diagnostic and interaction information collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK is described separately in Section 9.

6. Information Stored on the Device

The app may store certain information locally on the user's device, including:

  • App settings
  • Connection settings
  • VPN configurations
  • Selected servers
  • Subscription links or subscription information entered by the user
  • User consent status for VPN-related disclosures
  • Connection speed or latency test results
  • Advertising or privacy consent choices, where applicable

This locally stored information is used to operate and configure the app and is not intentionally sold by SHAH GUARD.

Users may be able to remove locally stored information by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

7. Information Entered by the User

If the user enters a subscription link, server configuration, QR code, or custom configuration, SHAH GUARD may store that information locally on the device to establish and maintain a VPN connection.

Imported configurations may contain information such as:

  • Server addresses
  • Ports
  • Usernames
  • Passwords
  • Connection keys
  • Other VPN configuration information

Users should not enter confidential information or configurations they are not authorized to use.

8. Information Sharing and Transfers

Information may be processed or transferred in the following circumstances.

Management Servers

Device and application information may be sent to SHAH GUARD management servers to provide configurations, settings, and service functionality.

VPN Servers

Network traffic is routed through the VPN server selected by the user in order to provide the VPN connection.

The VPN servers may process technical information necessary to establish, maintain, secure, and operate the VPN connection. SHAH GUARD does not intentionally use VPN traffic content for advertising or user profiling.

Google AdMob

SHAH GUARD uses Google AdMob to display advertisements within the application. Details about information processed through Google Mobile Ads SDK are described in Section 9.

9. Advertising and Google AdMob

SHAH GUARD uses Google AdMob, a service provided by Google, to display advertisements within the application.

The application may display different types of advertisements, including:

  • Interstitial advertisements
  • Rewarded advertisements

Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process certain information when advertisements are requested, displayed, or interacted with.

Depending on the user's device, location, privacy settings, applicable law, and advertising configuration, this information may include:

  • IP address
  • Android Advertising ID
  • App Set ID or other app-related identifiers, where collected by the SDK and permitted by applicable law
  • Information about interactions with the application and advertisements, such as app launches, taps, and ad views
  • Diagnostic and performance information
  • Information that may be used to estimate general location from an IP address

Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and transmit certain information to Google and its service providers for purposes such as:

  • Advertising delivery
  • Advertising measurement
  • Analytics
  • Fraud prevention
  • Service operation

Google may use information processed through its advertising services for personalized advertising where permitted by applicable law and the user's privacy choices.

The availability and personalization of advertisements may depend on the user's location, applicable privacy requirements, consent choices, device settings, and Google's advertising systems.

SHAH GUARD does not intentionally provide Google with the content of the user's VPN traffic, browsing history, visited URLs, DNS queries, or the contents of communications transmitted through the VPN for advertising purposes.

SHAH GUARD does not use advertising-related information to inspect or profile the user's VPN traffic.

Google Mobile Ads SDK processes advertising-related information separately from SHAH GUARD's VPN traffic processing.

10. Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices

Where required by applicable law, SHAH GUARD requests the user's consent before enabling personalized advertising.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, SHAH GUARD uses a consent management solution that is configured to meet Google's applicable requirements before personalized advertising is enabled, where such consent is required.

The consent management flow may allow users to make choices regarding the use of personal data for advertising purposes.

Users may also have controls over advertising personalization and their Android Advertising ID through their device settings.

If a user does not provide consent where consent is required, advertisements may be served using an applicable non-personalized or limited advertising mode, subject to Google's available advertising products and applicable requirements.

SHAH GUARD may update its consent and advertising configuration as Google requirements, applicable laws, or advertising technologies change.

11. Data Security

SHAH GUARD uses reasonable technical measures to protect information processed through its services.

Requests to SHAH GUARD services and transfers of information use encrypted connections such as HTTPS where supported and configured.

VPN traffic between the user's device and the VPN tunnel endpoint is transmitted through the encrypted VPN connection.

Information collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS according to Google's documentation.

Although reasonable security measures are used, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Data Retention

SHAH GUARD retains information directly controlled by SHAH GUARD only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide and operate the service
  • Manage app installations and service requests
  • Prevent abuse
  • Resolve technical problems
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

SHAH GUARD does not intentionally retain the content of VPN traffic, visited URLs, DNS queries, or browsing history.

The Android ID and associated installation information are retained on the SHAH GUARD management server while the installation remains active.

Installation activity is determined based on requests received from the app. SHAH GUARD periodically checks installation records, and installations that have not made a request for more than 24 hours are considered inactive and their associated installation data is automatically deleted.

This process does not directly determine whether the app has been uninstalled. An installation may therefore be considered inactive when the app has simply not communicated with the SHAH GUARD management server for more than 24 hours.

Information may be retained longer where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or other legitimate purposes.

Google AdMob Data Retention

Information collected and processed by Google Mobile Ads SDK is primarily controlled by Google and its applicable service providers.

SHAH GUARD does not control the retention periods applied by Google to information processed through the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Google's applicable privacy policies and documentation govern its handling and retention of information collected through its advertising services.

Locally stored app information may be removed when the user clears the app's data or uninstalls it.

13. Data Deletion Requests

SHAH GUARD does not require users to create a traditional account using an email address and password.

Users may request deletion of information associated with their app installation by contacting:

Where reasonably possible, the request should include the Android ID or other information that helps us identify the relevant installation data.

Information that is automatically deleted through the normal retention process described in Section 12 does not require a separate deletion request.

Some information may need to be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate technical records.

Information processed independently by Google through Google Mobile Ads SDK is subject to Google's own policies and procedures. Users should refer to Google's privacy controls and policies for requests concerning information controlled by Google.

Locally stored information can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

14. Children's Privacy

SHAH GUARD is not directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Third-Party Services

SHAH GUARD uses third-party services that may process information independently of SHAH GUARD.

The primary advertising service used by the application is:

Google may process information according to its own privacy policies, terms, and applicable legal requirements.

The application does not currently use advertising mediation or other third-party advertising networks.

The use of third-party services may change over time as the application, advertising systems, or service infrastructure are updated.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the app, services, third-party providers, advertising technologies, or applicable legal requirements.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Where required by applicable law, users may be provided with additional notice or asked to provide consent to material changes.
